We are suing L.A. County to stop their anti-American attack on Captain Jeffrey Little and his Christian beliefs!

In March 2023, Los Angeles County ordered all county-operated facilities to fly the “Progress Pride” flag during so-called “Pride Month,” throughout June.

Our client, Lifeguard Captain Jeffrey Little respectfully requested a religious exemption due to his deeply held Christian beliefs—so that he wouldn’t be personally required to raise the flag.  

At first his superiors granted this exemption... Only two days later, his religious exemption was suddenly revoked. And after the County tossed aside Captain Little’s request, they subjected him to an onslaught of retaliation, religious discrimination, and harassment for daring to live out his Christian faith. 

Captain Little’s request was even illegally leaked by his supervisors ... and the Little Family received a vile death threat letter against Captain Little and his young daughters.  

To this day, Los Angeles County has refused to respect his religious rights with a full exemption—which he is rightfully and legally due. 

That’s why we’re stepping into federal court to make sure Los Angeles County is held accountable for what they did to Captain Little—and to make sure they won’t bully him, or any other public servant, again.
