The case challenges an unconstitutional 'bubble zone' in the city of Carbondale, that’s become an abortion battleground post-Roe. Carbondale’s restrictive 100-foot bubble zone violates freedom of speech and due process under the First and Fourteenth Amendments, severely limiting sidewalk counselors’ ability to connect with and counsel abortion-minded women outside the abortion facility.  

Sidewalk counseling is essential for saving lives and ending the national scandal of abortion, and it accomplishes this through a ministry of care that considers the wellbeing of both mother and child.
